Hand Painted Furniture & Workshops

Upcycling the world one piece at a time!

For 26 of the last 29 years, Lea has been painting her way through interiors both commercial and domestic. From murals to specialist effects, often creating new paint effects. Her work has been featured on television and magazines over the years.

Her clients have included many celebrities, the occasional member of the Royal Family, and a variety of people who just wanted something special for their homes or businesses.

Lea has decided that now is a good time to concentrate on her passion for furniture. Sourcing interesting old pieces for upcycling, Lea mixes her own paint colours, making each piece unique – sometimes adding artwork for that special touch.

Colours can also be mixed to match any colour to enhance an interior. To see examples of her upcycled hand painted furniture go to Hand Painted Furniture.

Previously, Lea’s courses were for professionals only. More recently these classes have been tailored to workshops for hobbyists. Much more fun but still learning to paint furniture the professional way.

Why not book a hand painted furniture workshop with Lea and learn how to hand paint furniture the professional way. Bring a small piece of furniture with you and leave with it hand painted! More info >

If you’ve got an old favourite piece of furniture you can’t bring yourself to replace, it can be upcycled and revitalised with fresh ideas and creative finishes.

Even the most ordinary furniture can be transformed. Lea mixes and matches colours to your needs so you are guaranteed a fresh original piece every time.

Upcycling techniques include distressing, colour washing, and faux marbling, but Lea will achieve any colour or finish you have in mind. More info >
