Lea Conyers
Interior Artist
Lea was born in Richmond, Surrey.Her Father was involved in film making at Pinewood Studios and she would often accompany him to the various film sets. She was fascinated by the Special Effects Creators and scenery artists and was inspired by the magical techniques they would use to transform old bits of cardboard into magnificent marble pillars. She began painting murals for friends and started experimented with the aging techniques she had seen at the studios. Lea has spent many years developing quicker methods of producing these effects to make them more affordable.
She creates all her own colours using a unique mix of glazes and doesn't use ready-made off-the-shelf paints or materials. So you are always assured of originality. Lea works closely with a team of highly experienced tradespeople and together they offer a broad range of expertise in all areas of decorating.

Lea thrives on variety. Her work has ranged from handpainting a melamine kitchen to hand colouring antique prints for Prince Edward's Wedding. She loves serious transformations, so Kitchens and Bathrooms are a favourite. Very often, her handpainted effects will be punctuated by just enough artwork to make the finish totally unique. Most of her work now comes through recommendation which should speak for itself. She has an exceptionally keen eye for colour and can match any swatch or color sample you prefer.
