Lea mixed the colour glaze initially to match the fabric which was then diluted so the final colour was shades lighter in the finished effect. The technique used was a mutton cloth and a gold motif was painted
on the walls at random to compliment the design in the drapes.This was a very large room with huge wall areas that needed to have character added to create a warmer cosier feel. The random
motif successfully filled in any 'bare' areas
